Paypal will even it out--they do this as a method to verify your account. You should receive an e-mail requesting you to sign on and give the amounts they debited to verify everything. I have always enjoyed the best of luck with Paypal and trust that you will, too.

When I set up mine they initially made two small deposits into my account. I would contact them and ask for an explination. You can find a link on there page to contact them online! Maybe they had a change in method because too much was going out setting up accounts for people that never use ebay. I have actually seen people that have been members for two years and only recently made a purchase. I am using there feedback info to make this determination. Bottom Line......Contact PayPal and request information about the transaction.
Hope this helps !

They should debit a small amount and then credit it. If they have debited two small amounts, there may have been a problem with the first one.
Keep in touch with PayPal and your bank to see what might have gone wrong.

When I confirmed my PayPal account, they debited a single small amount - I think it was like twelve cents. Personally, having opened a PayPal account, I would contact them and ask what is going on.

Yes, they do this to verify your account. You WILL get them credited back to you. I have been a verified Paypal Member for over 3 years now and they are great contrary to what you may hear otherwise from unhappy people whom don't read the terms and conditions!

If it is small why worry it is only to help everyone on paypal to stop fraud. they may credit you but it may be the bank was in error not paypal.
Paypal is a pain anyway no one can understand it.
This error is so small best to just live with it.

paypal is one of the dodgiest banking systems online just now, give it a few weeks and they will freeze ur account for little or no reason, then hold your money for 6 months, while they get the interest for it. be warned
