Shania has broken records all over the world and is the biggest selling music act of the last decade. SHe is also a private person and only makes public appearances when she has an album to release. Shania is worth hundreds of millions of dollars and gives millions away to charities and she lives a clean life with her family in Switzerland.
She is the biggest country global superstar in the world and people are jealous of her that she did it without the help of Nashville and she has long trancended the genre.
SHania had one album alone(Come on Over sold over 38 million worldwide) sell more than shania wannabe Faith HIll has in her whole career.
Shania doesn't need to be a media whore for people to remember her, she is a music icon who sells millions all over the world when she comes out with new music.
I think people here are jealous that she is the biggest,best and she does it by being a private and classy woman.

It makes me mad when people say Faith is a Shania wanna be !
Did you know Faith and her husband had the biggest selling tour this year ! Faith has charities she donates to and also started a literacy program in honor of her father whom couldn't read . She loves her family and also has a clean career . Faith doesn't even have to be doing anything and people want to know about her . It doesn't take a CD to get them interested in her . Personally , I don't think Plain Jane Shania Twain can sing !She really showed it in that song a couple years ago with Billy Currington , Party For Two , it sounded hilarious and almost robotic . Her songs have ridiculious lyrics . Faith has a voice on her and her songs have meaning ! People can't get enough of her . She's gorgeous and very talented . She'll have a long career ahead ! Shania probably won't , in the next ten years no one will remember her ! What songs did she sing ? Is what they'll be saying . While , Faith will have another big tour and have several more hit albums ! Making the big bucks !

It's not jealousy. More a feeling of disdain. She is not country never will be. She is very Nashville by the wayshe led the charge to turning mainstream country the way it is now. You want a real female country singer try someone like Bonnie Bishop or Miranda Lambert.

Who cares about Shania. Her music is overly produced and great for 1988.
She has no personal style. Have you seen her when she tries to dress herself?
She is no ICON. If you wanted to choose a country Icon.. go with Faith Hill..
She is open about her life and can actually sing with out having to have her husband fix her voice.

I like her, but I think people don't like her because she's a TERRIBLE dresser and she gets away with it. Someone needs to tell her to stop wearing Jordache and get some clothes that real women wear. Plus, all of her new songs are cheesy and dumb.

Im not jealous of anybody who makes millions of dollars for no particular reason but to hear them sing..lol..but i do tell you this much her songs are cheesy..but if you like her then good for you hun..
