Once I go on meternity leave my fiance and I plan on spending at least 3 weeks in Colorado with his family. Is it safe to fly with a newborn that is 2-3 weeks old? The flight is a little over two hours.

kenya, its safe to fly at any age, the question is do u feel safe flying with a baby that young. My opinion is that u wait until the baby is a bit older to fly with her/him. Personally i would not.

first off i just wanted to say i didnt know i had a twin! ;) but for your question, ask your dr. me and the hubby drove to vegas to visit my folks when my kids were around 4 weeks. no problems just turned a 3 hour drive into like 5 hrs due to all the stops for feedings and changings and since your on a plane that would be 10x's easier for you.

check with ur dr. but i think if the baby and urself r in good condition there is no problem.
but i think if u stay at home u would be more comfortable atleast i wouldnt wanna be at someone elses house after i have my baby.

Talk to your doctor, and the baby's doctor. They might not recommend it...but if there is no real Medical reason why, don't see why not.

You should really check with your baby's pediatrician & you can't make any decisions now because you don't know if you'll have any complications, etc.

You will have to ask the baby's Dr. If it will be winter time they will probably suggest you don't b/c of RSV.

Check with your doctor and the Airline: There is a restriction on the age of babies.............
