No, because magnet releases only magnetic waves/field, while radio controlled gadgets operate on electro-magnetic waves. There is practically no impact.

To add to what's already been said, the belt probably produces a static magnetic field. Although this could erase your credit cards, it shouldn't have any effect on the frequencies produced by (or received by) your watch.

Also, the magnetic field of the belt decreases fairly rapidly, the farther you get from it.

And, anything that's going to detect the frequencies put off by your watch (or, if it's one of those that use rf fields to synchronize with the atomic clock, the frequencies received by the watch) probably won't be affected if there's some static background-- it'll probably just detect the dynamic part of the signal. And, if it's the watch doing the detecting, it's probably got some internal standard to which it compares the received signal. Unless you wave your arm back and forth at exactly the right frequency, you shouldn't have a problem. And I doubt that any non-superman could wave their arm that fast.

So, the belt should not affect the watch.

The watch will not be effected. But your brain functions will go totally haywire. You will find yourself asking meaningless questions and have no idea of why you are doing so. You will have a vague sense of these questions being somehow amusing, In the next stage of mental disintegration, you will begin imagining you are receiving nonsensical answers to your questions. If you do not remove the magnetic field at that point, it will be only a matter of minutes before your head explodes.

Good luck. Hope this reply reaches you in time.

It will only mess with watches that are gear driven. My husband works for a company that makes magnets and he has to wear a Digital LCD watch. Don't carry a credit card or bank card because your belt will erase the magnetic strip on the card.
