Should be on the left hand inner fender apron.
Don't let the guy below that "works on a lot of them", or the one that "sell a lot of parts" sway you. They haven't a clue!
Until 1987 the regulator was mounted on the fender apron. It is electronic, and non adjustable. From 1988 and on, the regulator was mounted on the rear of the alternator.

Its mounted on the drivers side fender apron
