what could happen if this morning my other yahoo mail was working perfect but yet this afternoon i cannot log on...it says password wrong ...and no one could have had acces to my computer...and this happened to my gmail account as well.

You should be able to "recover password" using your secret information. Then you may have a better idea what happened.

If your secret info doesn't work, you're going to have to do it manually with the Yahoo! and Google people, who can be hard to convince but probably helpful once they believe you.

Sounds like someone found out your password, logged into your accounts and changed the password to prevent you from accessing them. They would not have had to use your own computer to do that.

Try looking on the providers websites for an option to retrieve your password. You can often do this if you know your username/email address. If you succeed, log in and change your password immediately.

Other than that, all you can really do is report the issue to the providers, although I'm not sure what they could do without solid proof that the accounts are indeed yours.

Could be ... did you have the password in the corect case ie upper or lower ...as some passwords will only accept it in one case

There is a good chance you are not entering the correct password... think about it.

Is the cap lock on?

Somebody definately could have hacked in and changed your passwords..... can you think of anyone in particular who might be out to harm you?
