College elections have become fully political and there is no place for students in it. You will find most of the candidates for election are either wards of politicians, their relatives or political activists passing time in college. Such people do not hesitate to murder cause later when they become full fledged politicians they have to take up murder as full time engagement.
Professor sabarwal has not understood the change in time and has announced the cancellation of the election.
At least 20%so called students as of now are plain goondas seeking an opportunity to show their might.
The teachers and other students try to by pass them so that they can complete their education and get out.
The blame for all this is squarely on the shoulders of political parties and their leaders. The mischief was originally started by congress during sanjay Gandhi's time.

it just shows what politics can do in college!
the attitude of students have changed(its a fact). the respect that the older generation has given to a teacher is diminishing--i wouldn't say lost but is diminishing. the act of killing a teacher just shows how people have lost their values and humanity! how can anyone kill a person let alone a teacher?

er.. i believe that you might get more response if you could change the category of the question.

JUST DISGRACEFUL!Why should such duties be assigned to teaching staff instead of Police themselves...Why cant all professors unite in protest to blackmail by govt in doing irrational transfers if they deny such foolish duties to resist hoodlums and goons who are out to fight one and all in wake of political interests.
Its not only the wagabonds who are the culprits, its equally as much a fault of all governments who treat teaching staff as trash and blackmail them to do such atrocious duties.
Taking this as a full stop all teaching staff should say a firm NO to such duties in future.
As for the current case, the responsible culprits should be identified and their properties should be sold and the proceeds be paid as compensation to the aggrieved family.

in a country where they say MAATHA, PITHA, GURU & THIVAM (MOTHER, FATHER, TEACHER AND GOD), it is very sad to hear such a news..

the students (may be we should not call them students - murderers) does not know the value of teacher.. a teacher is the one who taught those killers to read and write.. but, the culture of India is slowly moving towards a disastrous path.. in a country where person like Abdul Kalam is president.. i feel sorry about our country's future...
