That's easy. Just watch MTV like all the other modern media gluttons, look around your school, and do what everyone else is doing.

punk is NOT the look. Don't become a poser. If you dress punk by buy $40 shirts and $80 pants that are "already" ripped, then you are not punk and you will be looked at as a poser and a phony. I don't get why girls are doing that these days. They go into conformist shops like Hot Topic and spend hundreds of bucks on premade "punk" clothes and they look stupid. They think they are so cool and hardcore by whereing these cloths. A really punk would break them anyday. Do yourself a favor, don't be a poser. A real punk goes to Salvation Army and other good will stores and makes their own clothes.

Just wear your clothes over and over again without washing them. And don't take any showers then you'll look just like a punk rocker.
