Yes because the body still has to get rid of the extra dead blood tissue inside her body.She will eventually stop menstruating after her first to four months of preganacy.

Yup. Took me 4 months to realize I was pregnant with my son. I was also 17 years old. I didn't gain any weight or show until 6 weeks before I gave birth (he was 5lbs). I actually proved my health class teacher wrong because that happened to me and got used as an example!!

Yes - it is possible. I was 3 mths into being pregnat when I found out I was. I was still having my periods normally. It is very rare that it happens and is not safe. If you think you are and you are still having normal periods go to the doctor. I didn't and I lost my baby at 5 mths.

Yes she can be. Though a bit less common it does happen more then expected. Though she typically will stop at some point and it usually happens early in the preg. If you're not sure then get checked out, or at least get a preg kit.

yes my mother said she menstruated through two of her pregnancies it is common is what the MD said

for the first few months it's possible to have a light flow but it's shorter and less quantity than a normal period
