Before leaving for work/school I set the microwave timer to 60 sec and give my hubby/kid a nice hug (for 60sec). Really helps start the day feeling loved and stress free..want to try? other tips?

What a great story.

That's beautiful.

It's the little things, isn't it?
Offering to get a drink while you are up.
Buying an article of clothing.
Whispering, "I can't wait for tonight."
Flowers, "just because"
Making a CD of songs the other will like when driving to work.

I love the timer idea but if many were added it could become a burden. The rest of the ideas should be impromptu or spur of the moment, I think.

I also take little mini-vactions during break at work to get away, breathe slow, and de-stress.

I like the hug idea. We hug at night, but not much in the AM. I'll try it.

I send my husband an email before bed when it is quiet and I can tell him something I appreciated that he did. I don't do it everyday, but once a week. He seems much more helpful and happy since I started. I am thinking I will do it for my teen son too.

Skip the microwave....use the oven. Set it for 10 minutes and give him a great bowjob! He'll really feel loved and stress free! Not too mention he'll smile the entire day!

Cool!

My husband leaves the house before I do, but before he gets out of bed he always likes to snuggle with me and whenever he leaves he kisses me goodbye whether I'm awake or not! He's a gem!

You've nailed it.

We decided that we are ALL too busy to be human...and now we have to Decide to Deliberately make it happen! Your idea is a great first step.

My only suggestion: use an egg timer/clock...then wear it out! >8-)

Lately I've been doing some crunches. Makes you feel a lot better just doing the smallest little thing for your body.

For awhile I wrote all the nice things my b/f did for me down in my journal. Made me realize how precious he is.

Also writing all your thanks down is nice.
