I feel a little cursed right now. I just had a good friend of mine's dad pass away yesturday and I had only meet him once...... this is the werid part, this is about the ninth person I have meet for the first time that has passed away within months of meeting them. and they have all died of different causes, car crashes, gun shots, natural, long term illnesses. some of them died a few days after I meet them and others died a month or so after I meet them. So I am just wondering is it me or is it just some werid way of life. and any tips on how to deal with the emotion would be great. I am only 20 and this is all hard to take in.....

i don't think u should worry about it ,although sometimes u just can't fight it...u shouldn't stop meeting people and making new friends just bcs u are afraid that they will die....maybe it's just coincidence os maybe not, but won't u feel bad when u realize u have lost a friend bcs of ur fear?

no. no one is ever born a jinx or curse or whatever.
it is just pure coincidence, just a cruel twist to make u feel like u are causing their deaths.
dont worry, it has nothing to do with u,
besides, long term illnesses sometimes just naturally end in death.
car crashes? probably due to their carelessness or lack of luck.
gun shots? just blame them being at the wrong place at the wrong time, or blame the gunshooters.
natural deaths?? why do u even bother when they died NATURALLY??

u have no role whatsoever in their deaths. unless u are saying u were the one who cause them to get sick etc.

just think of it as a bad experience, if this things happen again, maybe u could confide in someone. it`ll help. if not, just forget abt them and get on with ur life.

Instead of thinking of this as a curse, why not think of it as a blessing? God is wanting you to meet these people for some reason. Maybe you may have a gift to pray for people during their lives and after they are deceased. God does not allow people to pass away as a curse, everyone must die. God loves souls so much he wants them to be in heaven with him.

Maybe you have a gift to soothe the family after they have experienced a death of a family member. Gifts from God come in all forms; do not let the devil depress or suppress you into feeling it is something you have done or not done.

Never let things in life, especially things that we do not understand, overtake your emotions so much that you think it is your fault. You do not have that kind of power, no matter what you believe! Only God is in control...not even the devil cannot possess such power. The devil tries to elude people into thinking that he does, but he does not. Read the Bible - in the end Christians win - the devil is taken to hell and chained there forever.

God bless.

Wow!!! This is really a weird one. The truth is go and talk to somebody anybody it doesn't matter. Hell I guess that is what you are doing here on yahoo answers. Try to deal with the best way that you can, try not to get to overloaded on the strange ways that the universe works. And oh yeah going to church wouldn't hurt either. Hey whatever it takes.

Coincidence, say a few prayers and talk to the man upstairs, on a serious basis, he will lift those feelings from you!
