I think these guys are putting us on....cell phones are regulated by the FCC as are all two way radios and can only transmitt about 1 watt of energy. A microware can be 300 watts or more so yes it can cook an egg but a cell phone? Use common sense we only have a small battery in a cell phone so that's another reason we keep it working at low power, otherwise it wouldn't last very long.
