I had a baby about 4 months ago. I was brestfeeding for only the first month. Around August 9th I had my first period that lasted about 3 days. About 4 weeks ago my husband and I had unprotected sex but he didnt finish until we put a condom on. Now I am only 5 days late, but my mind is going crazy!! I dont think I can afford another baby right now. What should I do?

I would wait a few more days b/c it could be you just getting back on the cycle since you just had a baby. If it doesn't come in a couple of days take a pregnancy test and see what happens.
Good Luck Hope everything comes out okay.

Well, you certainly *could* be pregnant, but know that you can be fairly irregular when you first get started after having a baby. Best way to find out is to get a pregnancy test to let you know one way or the other.

If you really feel like you can't afford another child, a crisis pregnancy center may be able to help you out by providing maternity clothes, baby clothes, diapers, baby food, etc.

The cheapest way to put an end to these crazy thots..

Go to the nearest polyclinic and spend $8.90 to do a pregnancy test. According to the nurse, it is 100% acurate.. (so tat is better than off the shelf ones cos the results many not be conclusive and there is a chance of inaccuracy)

Good luck!

If you are not pregnant.. congrats

And if you are.. children are god's gift to us... there is a chinese saying tat says Tian Sheng Tian Yang.. so dun worry too much.. the good thing is that your children will grow up together and share alot of things ;)

Could be, just depends on a lot of things. Your hormones are most likely not straightened out just yet (from your 4 month old.) So your periods can be irregular, but there are people out there who have children 10 months apart, so at least yours would be 12!

Best wishes!

yes, you could be pregnant again - a friend of mine discovered she was pregnant again when she went for her first post-natal check-up at 7 weeks! Her 2 boys are about 10 1/2 months apart, almost like having twins. Not good for your body, it needs time to recoup after giving birth.

Go take a pregnancy test. Go to Planned Paenthood and talk to a Doctor about your options. This is a decision that should be between you and you're significant other. Don't do what's best for everyone else. Do what's best for you.

First off, relax. You're probably not pregnant. If you didn't have your first period until August then you're probably just not regular yet, and besides cycles change a lot after babies, you're probably just still adjusting

I would say don't stress cause your period will not be normal for a while, and if you stress it could postpone your period also. and if you had unprotected sex yes you could be pregnant, you are very fertile after you have a baby.

you could be pregnant, anything is possible. first-relax! your period won't be "regular" for a while. if you are concerned, take a test and then go from there. don't worry, everything will work out! get some birth control.
