Baby food doesn't taste bad. My mom makes a really good dutch apple pie & one of her ingredients is dutch apple dessert baby food. It makes it soooo goood! Other than that one, some of them may seem bland but that's cause you can't have strong flavoring & spices/seasonings with a child that young. They're little tummies & intestines are still developing so there's not a whole lot they can handle just yet.
Btw, not all babies cry all the time.....maybe just ones you've encountered! My friend has a 3 month old & he really only cries when he's hungry & that's it.

The reason for the taste is because their intestinal tracts won't digest grown up food. To an adult the food tastes different,but to a baby it's good. Oh,and how do you know what butt tastes like,lol?

Babies have not yet developed normal taste preferences, so feeding them this icky gunk will enable them to stomach nutritious but disgusting food like asparagus.

most of them are light in taste because baby's sense of taste is very strong and sensitive

A baby's taste buds are way more sensetive than ours! Besides, they only know what you give them. They won't miss salt if they've never had it!
