You have the computer specs. When you are at the store, just check these specs against any game that you are looking at.
512 MB of RAM
340 Intel Celeron D Processor 340,
100 GB hard drive
Windows XP
Intel Extreme Graphics2 3D
Just bring these SPECS with you, and ask the guy at the game store. The box should be well marked. Ask about their RETURN POLICY if the game does not work on your computer.

Look on the side or back of the box for system requirements I must warn you even if a computer exceeds what the system
requirements should be for a game it still may not work :( newer games are extremely picky about the video card they'll run on my previous computer was was a solid amd athlon with over 1 gig of ram and a fast processor a friend gave me NHL 2006 as a Christmas present but it wouldn't install or run why? because it didn't like my nvidia card that was only one or two years old that sucked so it just sat there on my book case and I never got to play it.
The older nhl 2000 and 1999 are the best ones I used they took less memory and ran well on XP/Windows/98/2000.

Ok first of all emachines is bad news, emachines used to be excellent budget computers in the past but lately i ve had a friend who has owned a emachines for 6 months and has had a plethora of problems. I have in my closet a Emachines 667ir very old year 2000 but still works. Now back to the games, some of the games might not run why integrated graphics. Not only this the president of epic said to intel you integrated graphics are making people not use games . Some games require a lot of graphics and intergrated graph. just dosen't cut it. So these games could run but so bad it could crash. Why windows will be forced to use your hard drive for memory and video memory. What i recommend? is more memory first get to 1 gb of memory it costs more money but you won't believe how mcuh faster your computer will be. Later graphics get rid of integrated graphics, first get better a graphics card that goes with your computer graphics port like AGP 2x/4x/8x or PCI-E ?this is better because a you will be able to play a lot of games. But with intergrated you might be able to play some limited games maybe web only. Battleship, but only simple games, if not your computer will not either run it or it will be increadibly slow. I recommend you go to your local best buy what ever store you go buy games and ask specifically for games that can run on integrated graphic they may laugh sorry about that but there are so little games but integrated that you might find yourself at a roadblock.
I also had the same dillema with a emachines remember i worte about the old emachines i have it had integrated graphics under the Intel 82810 graphics it used 1mb of memory for my video then almost for a game like quake three it took 1.5 gigs of my hard drive and the game was slow and it crashed so i recommend either upgrading or calling emachines to have your computer upgraded.

The games may run, but not well. You may be able to get away with lowering the graphical detail, but you may still suffer from slow framerates. Games are becoming more and more demanding on computers these days, so upgrades have to be done more regularly to keep up. More memory would be a wise investment. I would reccommend at least 1GB to everyone. Your processor and graphics card arn't the best either.

Your set up may be able to play it, but it might be a little choppy or have some lag during gameplay. A new video card may help you because more modern games require a high powered video card. I don't know of any other video games you can try, maybe you can try the 05 versions of those games.

Yes, your computer is capable of running the games you have mentioned, however, with integrated graphics you will not get the ultimate gaming experience.

Everything looks good, except for the video card. It sounds like it's integrated. Integrated cards are usually crappy and don't have much memory. I suggest buying another video card and using that instead of the integrated graphics.
