The Supreme Court said in U.S. Term Limits, Inc. v. Thornton, 514 U.S. 779 (1995) that term limits cannot be applied by states to federally elected officials. The Republican Contract with America (which included term limits) was never passed by Congress.

Some congress people are term-limiting themselves voluntarily, but most want to make a career out of it. Too bad. We would be better of if ALL of them had terms limits along with all judges.

no one should serve more the two years period .
You do not get better at your job after a year you only move on to something else and grow or become stagnant .
This is the problem with government .
Live long politicians and organisations to promote from within .
WE need new blood constantly to help or nation chang with the times .
