My ex used to do that & he was cheating. Also if he would bring it in the house, he would put it on silent so I wouldnt hear it ringing when the hoes were calling him @ 1 in the morning. Anyone who has a cell knows its a habit to bring it in the house, you dont even really think about it, you just do it.

Did you ask him why he left the phone behind?
If he is cheating are you ready to hear that confession?
