"Why is my comforter shaped like tent?"

i look at the alarm clock and wonder if i can get in a quickie and a a shower in 45 minutes. if im lucky its a quickie in the shower. by the way i am 40 years old and i have only called off work 3 times in my life. my neighbor turned 67 last year and finally retired. he worked at the same factory for 39 years and never missed a day of work. they had a big article in the local newspaper about him when he retired. now that is job dedication. he even got all his teeth pulled and got false teeth but he never missed a day of work. his wife told me after work he would go to the dentist and get a few teeth pulled everyday. get up and go to work and back to get a few more teeth pulled the next day. now that is a good worker. now in my case calling off 3 times in 22 years isnt bad. also i have been late for work twice, the first time was during a bad snowstorm and i have to go across a one lane bridge to get to town, there was a 6 car pile up and it took the towtrucks about an hour to get everything pulled out of the way. the second time was only about a year ago and my electricity went out during a storm. i didnt even take a shower before i went to work, i was 3 minutes late and the supervisor didnt notice it, but i was still late. i really felt bad about it.

"Ahh crap!" Then I struggle to find the alarm, crash into a wall, fall into the shower, dress, discover my underwear is inside out, and end up five minutes late for work.
