Nothing can beat Trinidad carnival - the build up over the weeks before with the Fetes and mas camps buzzing; Panorama and liming on the runway; J'ouvert to give carnival a kick-start - jumping up at 4am and getting covered in mud and all; pan; rum; soca and BACCHANAL!

The best carnival is one that has a well defined theme with creativity and diversity of content. It should have a central place, mirroring the larger community (into which it is incorporated with food, music, dress, dance, art and culture). It should be global and open to other cultures so it can be adopted and endorsed. Most of all it should be organised and implemented with love, friendship and a sense of camaraderie.

Great live and up to date music, different types of easten and western food, entertainment with shows etc. Parades all thses things are great.... I Love carnivals:D.....Notting Hill is the best one though

For a really good carnival, you have to have good weather. Sunshine is probably the key to the best carnivals.
