I think this is a misconception. Different parts of our brains control different things. To perform an action (I.E.--raising arms, visualizing a family member, computing sums), a certain part of our brain is activated. If all were activated at once (100% brain function), we'd be flopping around like a fish out of water, flooded with contradictory feelings and emotions.
I think it would be impossible to use 100% brain function safely and usefully.

We do use 100% of our mind. The 5/10% figure is an urban myth.

Maybe here, 'we', are the five percent. Imagine then, that 'us' is something infinite. God like, even. I don't think something like that is even fathomable to us at this level. By level I mean level of understanding. We're limited by our fears and I think we're very limited by our need to have every truth put in language we can read and picture in our minds. If it can't be dissected and pondered then it's not valid. If science can't measure, poke and prod it, then it's not real.

We use maybe 7% of our brains at any given time. Einstein used 9% of his brain. If anyone used more than that, hypothetically speaking, with this type of neuron-hyper activity, they would be prone to all sorts of seizures, strokes, tumors…which will lead to being in a coma, then death. So as you can tell, it's physically impossible to use 100% of our minds. We wouldn't be able to be a functioning member of society if this was possible. Hope that I was able to help....

Who are they?

Does it occur to you that if they are using a maximum of 5% that it might be enough to tell everybody how much of their mind they using.

It would be as if you loaned someone $100.00. Would it be ok if the only paid you $5.oo?

Would it be ok if they paid you $95.00.

Hi. It seems some people actually answered your question. Some just gave a silly answer.
In answer to your question...We would probably be living in a better world.

I don't think we could look the same physically.
We could became a world of human gods, with miracles, telepathy and more than the word love... so no death, no kill, no war... It is impossible for me to tell it by human words... I will need to tell you the total answer by telepathy...

no it's not an urban myth. but it doesn't mean we're stupid. you can make things happen with ur subconcious kinda like ur psychic. here's how you do it. when you go to sleep every nite say somethin like "wealth is mine" or "i'm going to win the lottery".
it takes like 3 months before you can get it into your subconcios. once you get it into ur subconcious things just start happening. it's pretty werd but ya. it works.

have you ever seen cris angel? he uses 100% of his mind
