i m light skinned but when i went to order my first pair of colored lenses. nothing suits on my skin except brown so i m getting 4 pairs of clear and 2 pairs of brown. how come blue didnt suits me but they does look good on my friend who has little darker skin than mine??

There should be a chart telling you with your skin color and natural eye color which would look best.

There is nothing wrong with brown eyes. In my opinion, brown eyes are sexier than blue eyes. Brown eyes give you this mysterious look but also gives you this innocent look. I have a pair of contact lenses in about every color. I have blue, green, violet, hazel, amber and a whole bunch of others. When I wear my clear contacts, alot of people compliment me and tell me that my eyes are so big and pretty. Just accept them. I mean, you even agreed that the brown eyes looked better on you than the other ones right? If something matches you more than something else, why not stick with it? If blue contacts don't look good on you then why would you want to wear something that makes you look less flattering?
Gavin Rossdale, Gwen Stefanie, Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder, Rose Mcgowan and Alyssa Milano all have brown eyes don't they? There isn't anything wrong with them.

Well i dont know about your friend but you should ask your optical to let you try all the colors. You can decide which you like and sometimes after a while you get used to the color u thought didnt look right. Ask other people what they think.

try the freshlook colorblends. it has a few colors mixed together so it looks more natural but you still get the blue or brown effect etc. I have light skin and dark brown eyes and the blue colorblends looks pretty natural on me. go try on a pair

I saw that colored contact lenses are very
dangerous, because they do not filter out the very harmful uv rays. Don't listen to a salesperson tell you different, call an opthomolgist for real medical advice.

that happened to me to, you should go to a regular eye doctor and they have free samples you can try. Some brands work better than others. I ended up getting a blue pair that make my eyes like midnight blue, the brand I got was acuvue.

my opinion... and everyone i know... colored contacts look horrible... your better off getting clear ones if you need them.

complexion is the key... you might wonna try hazel a mix of both.... or go tanning
