24 years ago my brother called me over and said he did not want anything to do with me or anyone else in the family. I was 24 then. I have always been a good sister when growing up. Took him and his friends out to eat alot. I never ask him for anything. He invented some kind of oil additive and thought he was rich I guess. Said he did not want anyone asking him for anything. Why would a brother do that? I tried to email him some pictures I thought he might like but my Mom told me it made him mad so I wrote him a short letter telling him I would still respect his wishes and would not try to comunnicate anymore. Doesn't he know how much it hurts to have grown up with out him and my children not having a Uncle. I know this is not the place to put this but I am really depressed with no one to talk with. Sorry

I know it hurts I mean not talking to your little brother when you know that you have been a good a sister and all but I mean if he doesn't want to talk to you then what can you do. I guess you can live with the fact that you did try to communicate with him and he got mad so just try to move on with your life. I know it hurts but in the end you can hope that he will come around. I know that this sounds corny but just pray and ask the Lord to change his thoughts. I will wish you luck and pray for you.

Find out why is he so mad about you? Clear the negative things that he had on you.Send him apologies . Remember to send him greetings whether his birthday or x'mas. Just to remind him that you care. Is he married? If yes ,get your children to know his children.Your mum should also help to foster this relationship. Family will always be family. Hopefully you can solve what's bothering him than everything will be OK.

Just remind yourself that it was he was afraid you would be 'bugging' him for money. If he thinks this way and has decided to completely eliminate family out of his life...is this someone you would really want your children to 'look upto' as an uncle?? Sometimes you just have to think that things may be better off...this is the only way to cope with some things. Who knows, one of these days...he may really realize what a wonderful family he is missing out on and then he may try to come back to you...THEN...it will be YOUR choice of whether his selfishness is worth your love....GOOD LUCK!

That stinkin ingrate...He has no regards for anyone. Seriously, do you really want your children around him with that kind of behaviour. I would rather not know my uncle if that is the type of person he is. But above all keep trying with him.

this happened to me too. My brother wouldn't speak to any of us and its been over ten years. No reason just said one day for us to leave him alone and now his wife has left him and he is all alone. I figure something happened he doesn't want to share with anyone else and wants to deal with it alone. good luck
