Yes, it's cheaper than going to a salon and spending sometimes, like, $15, for a 10 minute service.

The best way to learn how to do it, at home, is to have a buddy to go through it with you. That's how I did it the first time. You can kinda guide each other better than if it was just you and a mirror.

Secondly, get a good brand that offers eyebrow stencils for a guide. I recommend Sally Hansen Facial Wax. It comes with 3-4 stencils, wax, a little plastic wand to use to apply the wax, tweezers, benzoid cream(not sure if I spelled that correctly) to help reduce redness and swelling, and a little wooden stick to help with separating the hair of your eyebrows.

It is a bit scary to do it at home first, but if you have a good friend and stencils you should be fine. After the first time of waxing it should become easier for you. All you really have to do after the first waxing is maintenence, that's where the tweezers come in.

Oh, and keep baby oil with you too! In the waxing process, before it hardens, you can remove the wax with baby oil. But if you wait too long you'll have to go through with the process.

Hope that helps!

Well what i do is get them done at a shop first so i know exactly how the arch of my eyebrow is made and supposed to be...then from there on i tweeze them my self but so i won't have the pain of having to pluck several new grown hairs i just keep a close watch on my brows and pluck a hair if i see it!!! This way your brows will stay looking great all the time!

Yes I do it myself I use tweezers and wax. By myself, it isn't too bad you get used to it. I got it professionally done, before, but it kept growing back befor ea week and a half so I got sick of paying 15.00 every other Friday plus the time lost and by then I had learned how she did them. Now I get compliments all the time on my eyebrows. So I don't think I do a bad job LOL.

i do my eyebrows, and there are waxing kits that show you how or you can go to a nail salon and they charge like 5-8 bucks to do it i usually have them do it.....but when i dont feel llike going i pluck and wax myself....even with wax u still have to use the tweezers.... to trim it out..and get the hairs that aint come out .... waxing sucks at home cause it you dont do it right the wax dont come off and it is a pain in the *** trying to get it off

I always screw them up. So normally i get them waxed and then i try to keep up with the shape for a while and when they fall out of the shape i get them waxed again. I can't stand the little hairs when they come in, so I try to keep on top of them, b/c I can't get the shape right myself

you use tiny scissors they have them near the nailpolish in the drug stores. brush all your eyebrows up and just trim it but don't hold your hair up and flat while you trim bc then you'll trim too much.

as for face, I get my face lasered. Its so worth it bc the hair grown back finer and lighter and eventually it will stop.
theres placces that are affordable and will give you a good deal. oh and the pain isn't all that bad either. fyi

I get mine waxed and then pluck in the inbetween times. If you get your done professionally they will make the proper shape. Then you can just tweeze any hairs growing out iof whatever they formed.

Pluck stray hairs and trim with tiny scissors....draw a line with eyeliner to make sure you don't mess them up...It's easy after the first time if you keep them up..
