I fed the bears fruit by throwing it at them.
I fed a baby penguin with fish and then it pooped on my friend.
I helped throw a fish-cicle to the polar bears.

Okay, so I was a volunteer at the zoo, but I still was feeding the critters.

a friend of mine use to work at the Bronx Zoo (NEW YORK). on weekend i visited him at the zoo and he arranged for me to bottle fed a cub bear. it was one of the greatest experiences of my life.
the cub rested on my bent arm and suckled away the bottle in no time. a second bottle, then a third. all during the time he was being fed his BIG BABY feet were going wild. he made subltle ferocious sounds, nothing to be frightened about. I did not want to say goodbye to OTTO, but he needed to go back into the pen with his siblings for exercise and play time.
i've also had the privilege of feeding a lion cub also. that too was exciting, but over too quickly.

I have fed fish purchased at the zoo to feed seals and dolphins. Also, when I took my son to a petting zoo, you purchase feed to give to the goats. I don't feed animals at a zoo unless it is authorized because you are doing them a disservice.

I fed a monkey my McDonalds milk shake it was sad because after he drank it he started to pass gas and none of the other monkeys wanted to sit by him

I've fed the monkeys before. We gave them some candy bars we had in our bag. Snickers I think. They were diggin it. The kids thought it was awesome.
