I agree with you entirely and it fills me with the most deep feeling of sadness when I hear people with absolutely no education in such matters repeating the total rubbish thrust upon them by their church. There really is no substitute for real knowledge. To live a life based completely on a religious myth is a travesty, a very great pity for so many people and a genuine threat to an awful lot of us. Without a radical overhaul of the American education system their nation and it is only their nation, will slip further away than they already are, from those of us in the developed world.
