I work in London, and have done for 11 years but the crammed trains, the miserable b*stards on the trains, the attitude that people have that London is the best place ever and better than any town outside London reeeeally pees me off. Does anyone else feel the same?

Well, it's one thing to visit a place as a tourist and one thing to live there. And any city has it's bad points - I mean London has 8 million people, there are going to be quite a few miserable gits out there! But I've also met some nice people. Except during rush hour; then everyone's grumpy.

Yes. I worked in Knightsbridge a few years ago, and the people were so rude and ignorant. I once fell at the top of the underground escalator, in the rush, and everyone just stepped over me, i couldn`t beleive the lack of compassion, it is a rat race down there, glad i am back where i belong, amongst nice, obliging HUMANS again!!

Yeah London is rubbish. Doesn't mean it's overrated though. You can be impressed by a city without actually liking it.
