Thank you all folks, good answers all!
And with an ironic sense of humor this sarcastic answer to my question, acknowledge and summarizes it all, it will be easier to move out the country to find the public school that I'm looking for my kid, and in the mean time to keep working three jobs to be able to afford a private school while the rest of my hard earned money will be wasted paying the TAXES for the public ones!!! Thanks

Yeah -- good luck with that one. From what I know of Texas, it would be easier to find a school that had a great football program but no academics.

Are there charter schools in your area? If not, then private schools or continuation schools may be your only options. Keep in mind, though, that just because a school offers a program doesn't mean that you have to be part of it.

well, you'll have to go through a private school. Or you could call your administrative office for the school district in your area; they could point you in the right direction. From north east texas, I can feel your pain if that is what you are looking for. hard to find.

I've heard requests for no football, but zero athletics is unusual.

Athletics can be an important thing. They are great ways to relieve stress and stay fit.

I dont know that you'll find one, there are laws about PE.
