It sounds like a bladder infection. You should mention it to your doctor and have it treated before you go into labor.

Congratulations and good luck!

This doesn't actually mean that the baby has dropped yet unfortunately! I'm 5 days overdue and he still hasn't dropped but I have the same horrible pain that you are describing. The doctor said that as the baby grows larger and obviously is short on space he is pushing against the pubic bone and every movement will be felt. The weight is also another factor and at times I feel as if he is literally about to fall out from the pain in my vagina...it's not uncommon. Not really sure what advice to give you as i've been told it's natural and not much you can do....it'll be over soon..good luck!

It sounds like your baby is dropping. It's a sign that means labor is near! I got like that 1 1/2 weeks before the baby was born. I got quite uncomfortable and was ready to have her out. She never officially dropped down low enough so I had to get a c section, but it is a big sign. If it's hurting you really bad call your doctor and ask, but I'm sure he'll tell you the same thing. Good luck the wait is worth it!

Oh my god, I thought I was the only one. Before I got preg I heard about every possible symtom....except the pain of feeling like your pubic bone was hit with a hammer. Apparently it's normal. The baby is bigger and heavier than before ... and dropping. Since your 39 wks you baby has probably already dropped or will do so very shortly. I'm 36 wks...so I have 4 more weeks of this horrible pain to endure.
Good luck!

In the later stages of the pregnancy, the baby begins to turn which puts more pressure on your cervix and around the hip area. It may be nothing, but if you're seriously concerned see your doctor that's looking after your pregnancy. Have as much rest as possible because you're about to get exhausted for at least the next few weeks.

Is the baby really, really low? That is what happened when I was pregnant with my daughter. You are 39 weeks, so it might be that you are ready to have that baby. Drink tons of Raspberry Leaf tea to tone your vagina.

The baby is moving down most likely. If your able to breath a little easier, I would bet money that it baby moving down. If your still concerned, I would call your dr. tho and find out for sure. Congrats and good luck!

I had those same exact pains with both my children, and within 2 days of the start of the pain I was in labor. Have your bags packed and expect to have a baby this week!
Congrats!

When in doubt, I would certainly call your OB or midwife to see what they say. If you have experienced any bleeding along with these symptoms, DEFINITELY CALL. Otherwise, if you have had a lot of Braxton-Hicks contractions already, you may just be sore from that.
