Wat is Ex-India Leave, What is the rule NO. as per CCS leave rules? Wat is the eligibility criteria? How to avail it? Is it same as
extra-ordinary leave (leave without pay)? Examples: Recently heard "WWE wrestler "Kali/Khali" availed same. Also a cricketer in India availed same. Please send your answer at the earliest with as much details as possible.

From the newspaper article I have read, I believe that "ex India leave" refers to a leave of absence from a job for the purpose of leaving the country. It has to be done with the permission of the employer. For more information, you should contact your employer.

"As per the rules a PGI faculty member could not proceed on an ex-India leave without the permission of the governing body. A doctor with five years of regular service could avail two years’ leave. But as a senior faculty member commented, most tended to stay back leaving the institution with no other option but terminate their services."
