Later procedures past 20 weeks LMP are not as accessible as earlier first trimester abortions. A very small percentage of procedures are performed at this stage
At every gestational age, elective abortion is safer for the mother than carrying a pregnancy to term. Medical abortions, or those performed primarily by medication prior to any surgical intervention, are even safer than surgical abortions at the same gestational age.

Some people don't understand that there are lots of different circumstances in which a woman needs the right to seek an abortion.
1) pregnancy due to rape
2) fetus that is dead in the womb
3) a 50+ year old woman who has begun menopause and is caught by surprise
4) a young teen
I could go on and think of more, but my point is, everyone is not just carelessly using abortion as birth control, and in my opinion, it is better to take out something the size of a bean than to have children having babies of their own. If someone legitimately needs an abortion, it would be way less complicated if they leave the laws alone and keep it legal.
Besides MEN should not be the ones trying to re-write the law.

You can use RU486 up to 6 weeks gestation. A surgical abortion must be done by 20 weeks. As far as abortions go, the sooner it's done, the easier it is for the doc and for the patient.

up to 12 weeks can be done in a clinic up to 16 weeks it can be done but only in a hospital setting where they can monitor you more. You have to be at least 6 weeks to get an abortion. Just remember that this is your decision and your life.

You should have though about that before you took your pants off
Shame on you for killing an innocent fetus. I wish that abortion was illegal. If you made the mistake of taking your pants off, then you should at least give your baby up for adoption.

Question? How old are you? Do you know that having unprotected sex leads to pregnancy??? I'm hoping you are deciding this becaue your pill failed or your patch failed you, or the rubber broke,Or maybe u just want to know or ask for a friend... because if you intentionally had sex without protection and are now pregnant, you are very WRONG for that! Why would you do that? Consult with your doctor, only they know whats best... ABORTION ISN'T! DEPENDING ON THE SITUATION OF COURSE!
