Yeah they creeped me out too. You what really creeped me out? The flying monkeys in Wizard of Oz. I'd scream and run and hide every time they came on.

the oompa loompas from the movie Willie Wonka (gene wilder) and the Chocolate Factory didn't creep me out. even as a child i knew that the oompa loompas were just "little people" in costume.
on the other hand, the oompa loompas from the recent johnny depp version, TERRIFY me. the graphics of the usually normal size people 'shrunk' down scares me. how did they get little, huh? (un-like their successors that were obviously born little)

As a kid I couldn't watch that film. It wasn't the oompa loompas. I lost it when that kid went up the tube. That was when I had to leave the room.

The ones in Willie Wonka and the Chocolate factory freaked me out. The ones in the re - make Charlie and the Chocolate factory looked like the same guy, so they didn't freak me out.

No, they never crept. And neither would I. If I ever met an Oompa Loompa, I'd use my height to great advantage. And if they get freaky, I'd use my shoesize too.
