George W. Bush is a fine man who will go down in history as one of the finest Presidents of the USA.
Wiretapping without court orders (phones & internet) should be a tool for the enforcers. Only the one's participating in illegal activities should be against this.
Holding prisoners without due process should have moderate allowences ... however, I am with the Geneva Convention about the human rights being upheld.
Are you a Terrorist? Sounds like you have the anger bug that most Terrorists have. It's the same anger I see when you take cigaretts away from a smoker and tell them "Smoking causes cancer" ... or when you take a Twinkie away from a morbidly obese person and tell them "Eat healthy, you are complicating your diabities". Whaaaaaaaa.

Those prisoners are POWs. Under the Geneva convention, they can be held to the fighting stops. Since terrorism will never end, they can be held forever.
Bush never ordered the wiretapping without a warrent and in fact they can wiretap for 72 hours before the agents have to ask for a warrent. The agents could have asked for a warrent after the 72 hour period and may have.
Torture is allowed in the Geneva Convention under two rules. Both parties must be part of the Geneva Convention for there to be no torture. The captured terrorists aren't, but the Iraqi soldiers were (that's why the soldiers in Iraq were busted). Also any major torture was done by foriegn countries (the reason for the secret prisons). This was mostly psychological mind games rather than physical torture (for instance saying the food they were force fed was pork).

There is no illegal wiretapping. If it was illegal, the Supreme Court would have stopped it.
Also, notice that no Democrats say that foreign surveillance program should be STOPPED. Not even Feingold has said it should be halted.
Prisoners of other countries do not have due process rights. If they sue in federal court they don't have "standing" so be careful of wanting to attach constitutional claims to non-citizens especially those who want to kill you and me.
There is no violation of the Geneva Conventions. The debate today is whether the Conventions apply to enemy combatants who don't belong to a regular, standing, state army. The Conventions were signed by different nations not terorrists groups/gangs/thugs.
You clearly don't understand what is impeachable and what is not. Don't let politics blind you to the letter of the law.

Let's not forget invading a country we had no right to be in in the first place, and pretty much giving up the search for Osama Bin Ladin. I'm glad to know I'm not the only person who feels that way. And for whomever said it: THE VOTES OF THE PEOPLE DO NOT DETERMINE WHO BECOMES PRESIDENT. IF THEY DID, GORE WOULD HAVE BEEN PRESIDENT INSTEAD OF BUSH IN 2000. The people should also demand that the Electoral College (the group who actually determines the president) be disbanded since they are obsolete. There are so many sources for news that its not like it was back in the 17-1800's where it would take weeks to get the news.

Keep asking these good questions. Read orwells 1984. Look at what hitler did prior to nazi germany. Watch out the culture of fear. Governmental power. We need to organize together and not let the government have too much power. No attacking eachother we all want the same thing. We want to live our lives as we see fit without interferance of the government. I think that is universal still. It is not partisan. We must not lose sight of what this country stands for and what it was established for. We must not lose sight of our constution and bill of rights. Our founding fathers set up good documents for us. Do not let people stomp on them. We need someone who respects us. It does not matter who they are we must demand that as americans.

Suggest you get yourself better informed. Sounds like you are allowing yourself to be brainwashed by the democrats and liberal media who are spreading false info trying to get their own people elected. They have no regard for the good of the country, just their own selfish ends. Try listening to both sides of issues and then make up your own mind. Don't be led like a mindless sheep!

Because some "sheeples" need to "wake up" and stop mindlessly "following the leader" and allowing ourselves to be "spoonfed a bunch of lies".

BECAUSE: He is a great president!!
If you don't like him move.
At least 50% of the population of the US voted for him. So don't put all the blame on him. GO BUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
