my computer at work won't recognize the format & says it is not a supported file type, I can't upload the files either?

do i have to resave from the original computer on to a new cd again, cuz i saved them to a cd thentried to open them w/the cd on an older computer

Right click the file and choose the option "Open with" and Select Paint. If Paint is not listed - Goto Choose Program and the select Paint BUT don't forget to untick the option (below in Open with window) "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file".

If the file is a picture file it should open up in Paint. Once it opens up, Now, File -- Save as -- Give name -- Choose file type below as JPEG and save it.

Now you should be able to open the NEW saved file in Paint and Windows picture and afax viewer and also upload/display on to any webiste.

Open the picture in the program you used, click file>Save As and change the file type to jpg / jpeg and re-save it.

choose a image editor program to open the file with.

click on 'file' toolbar at the top and scroll down to "save as"

a window should pop up and at the bottom below "file name" is "save as type" click on the scroll and choose jpeg. and click on the button "save"

try adobe photoshop or paint.
