I would not have hesitated a minute to vote for Collin Powel over Bush or any of the others in the last several races. I have been impressed with his leadership and up until he became a supporting part of the Bush administration I admired his honesty. I feel he degraded himself by supporting the Grudge War. I also think he left his position because he could no longer support that war. I would vote for him or anyone else like him regardless of color or sex if I felt s/he could bring America back to where we were; a proud nation, standing together, taking care of our own, and not spending half our time fighting other countries and the other half criticizing other political parties. We have put a bunch of snivelers into office, not leaders.

I'll go out on a limb and say that us youngins will see a black president. Eventually, all of the old, sexist, racist, Christian douchebags running our country now will be dead, and younger, more tolerant folks will be taking over.
Also, it has nothing to do with the "people" electing anyone. As everyone should know, the people do not elect the president; that's what the electoral college is for.

When the black population stops thriving on violence. When the black population stops propagating ignorance. When the black population stops seeing themselves as a disenfrancihised people. When the black population stops seeing women as brood mares and nothing more. When the black population cleans house and joins society and no longer asks society to see them as victims. This could go on forever. There is no problem with a black president; the problem lies with the black culture; an anti-social culture.

I think when Bush gets out of office. Everyone is so sick of Bush, that they'll accept anyone to be the next president.

Probably never. There'll prbably be a woman president, then a hispanic president, then an asian president, but I don't see a black president any time soon.
