I came in second place last year dressed as Mr. Clean...won dinner for two at a restaurant. Received a plaque as well.
The year before I came in 3rd dressed as a heavy metal rocker...wore a wig. Another dinner for two and plaque.

My sister in law made me a Unicorn costume and it won first prize. It was complete with a horn and everything. I change out of it so I could dance and someone offered to buy it from me for $100.00 so I sold it.

i went to a halloween contest as a woodland sprite, i almost won, but i voted for my best friend (at the time) so she won.Also one time at school there was a carnival with a 50s theme and i won with my poodle skirt.
I love dressing up! as long as i look/feel fabulous it doesnt matter if i win

Yes; sophomore year of high school. I dressed up in a tattered white dress, a lace veil, and carrying a bouquet of flowers, then did up a bunch of ghost makeup and fake skin and blood so I looked like a bride who'd gotten her throat slashed.

I never won a contest, my costumes were bootleg, I really didn't care because it was all about the candy!!!

I made a home made wonder woman costume when I was 5. I took red electrical tape to my new cowgirl boots....my mom was so pissed.. But I had to have the red boots!
