the reason i ask this is because down hear a girl is not normal if she listens to heavy music or dress gothic or anything Im about to flip on the people down hear because of it

Different is SO GOOD!!! I was called "different" (just to put it nicely) when I was a teenager. Piercings and red, pink, green, blue hair was weird when I was younger. I didn't let it bother me because I knew, and still know, who I was and what I wanted in life. Some people try to fit into the mold that society has created because that's what makes then feel better. Other don't fit into the mold, and those are the people I would much rather see in my life. These are people who are proud of the things that make them different, are happy with the way they choose to live their lives, and keep their heads up high when anyone looks "down" on them. Alot of people don't understand what it's like to be their own person! As long as you aren't hurting anyone else, you love yourself just the way you are and your family loves you just the way you are, everyone else can just go f*$k themselves! Be you! Be proud of you! being same, or different, is not gonna matter UNLESS u are not judging or hurting anyone else.
remember all those stereotypes of popular cheerleaders, but they're So mean to other kids? that's not good. anyways, long story short, yes be true to yourself. keep an open mind. try not to judge, even tho a LOT of people are going to judge you. try not to take things too personally; as long as u are taking care of urself, ur grades, ur friends, ur relationships w/ family and are able to socialize "normally" w/ strangers and peers and teachers, no one will be able to say anything about u, except ur "different", and that's not a bad thing! :)
