Nice looking and clean? Avoid urban universities and go to a smaller school.

If you want beautiful campus and great academics -- then there are schools like Duke, Princeton and Dartmouth. If you want good (but not top tier) schools that fit that bill, then places like Villanova might appeal to you (gothic architecture, lots of trees, wealthy neighborhood).

Schools like Harvard, NYU, MIT and Columbia are more urban -- so won't be nearly as clean.

State schools always have ugly buildings -- so they are out.
