Saw it on Entertainment Tonight back in June, but never heard the final result.

He is still missing but some people are speculating that he faked his own death because some people claimed to see him in Mexico alive and well. It has been said that he might of did this because he was heavily in debt.

I know at the time of his disappearance he was being sued for massive amounts of child support, so I have to agree with the other responder that he ran away.
