That's a pretty accurate indication that what's being said is not all thats on the mind of the "shaker." Whether it be insecurity, attraction, dislike, or anxiety, there's an energy being used other than conversational, which means there is another internal facet involved in the exchange.

well it could be a combination of many different things. If the person has ADHD or ADD then the shaking of the leg is an excessive energy flow caused by rapid neural firing resulting in the energy being expelled through the shaking of ones leg. If the person is feeling anxious or nervous (eg. in an interview) the leg may start shaking as a direct correlation to the person own reaction to nervousness. The other reason why ones leg may shake is when there is building of new veins resulting in the sensation that there is a pulse in your leg resulting in an involuntary shaking of the leg. I hope that helps.

It's a subconsious twitch to get the blood flowing in that region. When you are sitting, standing, doing nothing, the blood is not flowing as good as it could. Twitching their legs is a way to get it going again.

It's a reaction to nervousness or anxiety. I've seen it in otherwise confident people who feel uncomfortable in that situation.
