My child resides in California and the so called dad AKA sperm donor now lives in Florida which I had to find out through the medical insurance company - info was given to me by mistake. Not completely but enough for me to know he's moved out of the state he originally lived. The child support services doesn't even know where he's currently living or working at so their a dead end to me. I'm not sure who to contact in Floria to get me help or where to start looking. Any suggestions anyone or suggest a website that allows you to look at other details at NO CHARGE to us? Thank you.

Other than http://www.whitepages.com nothing is really free. And it's the responsibility of the California authorities to get the Florida ones to cooperate as required under federal law.
And hope that the deadbeat doesn't run off to Costa Rica. I can tell you I've seen dozens, hundreds maybe, of spiteful deadbeat dads hanging around the bars of Latin America and Asia rather than pay up. Of course you can get their passports cancelled, but often they just get another one from a different country.
Good luck. You should be able to get his tax refund, get his passport and driving license suspended, and much else. You have to be persistent, and reasonable. You mustn't ever be seen as vindictive, even if you want to be, even if you are justified in being.

I am wondering why she is bothering with this. I know there are court orders, but sometimes, the support is not worth all the hassle. If I were her, this is exactly what I would do. I would move to a town that was so far away, they would have to drive a long distance to get their weekends. The child has to be made available for the visitations, but that is all. Half way trips are not required under the divorce agreement. Document every phone call (record and it is not illegal), document every weekend that is missed. Do this for about 5 years or less. Depends on the State's law on abandonment. Meet another man and if he is the one, let him adopt the child. Here is the kicker that is a blessing. Let all that child support build up without saying a word. In Texas, interest is added on the support just like on a credit card. Interest on the balance, not on the principle. It builds up real fast and by the time an adoption is requested, that is the perfect tool to hold over his head to make sure he signs away his rights. Think of it this way, all those years without him and his family causing trouble, it will be years of peace. That is so important to the child. To provide a peaceful home for the children. UPDATE***** Taking him to court will not solve the problem. It will only be a slap on the wrist and he will continue to do what ever he pleases. They will not put him in jail unless he has been before the court a few more times. In the mean time, he will be sitting at home laughing.

If he's working he can be found unless he's using a BOGUS Social Security number.
Call the county again and ask about a SS work search...

All you need is his SS# and child support services can find him in 2 minutes. That is, if he has a job or address of residency. Go back to them and make them do their job. Which is to find deadbeat dads. Some civil service departments forget who pays their salaries. You should get a warrant for his arrest through the court system. They will find him and have him extradited back to Ca. to stand trial for the child support.

Are his parents still alive? Or does he have any sisters or brothers and do you have their phone#? You could have a friend of yours call one of them as a credit card company and tell them there has been major activity on his card and the number he gave is not valid and you need to contact him immediately. Once you have the number, its pretty easy to get the address. Just a thought!
It worked for me when I was looking for my ex.

Other than that, it's about buggin his relitives, lying and hiring a detective.

talk to child support enforcement in your state.
the child support enforcement is supposed to work for every state. and from experience, i know that missouri does collect from michigan. they call it interstate.

their are many sites that are free but if you want email me with the name and age and i will look it up on a pay site i hate dead beat dads i am the father of 3 boys and 2 girls and pay my child support and then some!!!!!!!
