I do! Physically, intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, totally. Their beauty, their kindness, their wisdom, their faults!

Scientists might say it's just instinct, hormones, etc., but that makes it all the more real, ingrained. Yes, I know how to "keep my wits about me," always. But my whole life seems "transformed" when I am with the right woman. I only hope I can do something similar for her, but I'm not sure how. I can only be myself.

I haven't done this subject justice - I can't find the words.

So help me out. Tell me your feelings, experiences, etc.

This question is directed at men, because I AM one and can relate more to a guy on this. No offense meant. Any thoughts from anyone would be of interest to all!

But I'm not really interested in posts calling me a wimp, whipped, etc. I'm interested in a more MATURE discussion. The "macho" thing is for guys who feel they have to put on a show or have something to prove, or overcome.

Thanks.

I recall an occasion a few years back. I was in a neighborhood bar, full of (mostly) men tossing back a few after a hard day's toil. I got into a conversation with one of the few women. That's all it was: conversation, and it would never be anything more. But after the fact I realized that I had enjoyed it because she was a she, that having an extended talk with a woman was a nice little massage for my masculinity. My real masculinity, not the he-man/macho-fairy crap masculinity, but my male identity.
It chrystallized in my mind the idea that men and women aren't exactly the same and that I wouldn't want them to be.
Yeah,I love women as women, not just for the T&A (though that IS everything it's cracked up to be!), but for everything that makes them women.

I have to agree with you. It's given me a wonderful 25 years of marriage, and still going.
