there are jaw harps and harmonicas these are 2 different instruments, then there is as had been said broke back mountain which wasn't musical or that good a movie (im not homophobic i've just seen far better movies both western and ones dealing with sexuality)

I thnk you are talking about a Jews or Jaws harp. This is held between the teeth and plucked by the hand. It sends out a sort of "sprong" sound and can be heard in a number of spaghetti westerns from the 60s.
