I would guess that the most likely problem is broken or missing exhaust mounting brackets. On Hondas, and many other cars, these are thick rubber rings that loop over a curved metal finger on the exhaust and another mounted near it on the bottom of the car. They serve to suspend the exhaust beneath the car and to insulate the car from exhaust system vibration. They tend to break fairly often and then the exhaust is able to rattle about making various sorts of unusual noises. There will be, incidentally, a half dozen or so of them scattered along various points on the exhaust, and any missing or broken ones can account for a rattle. Ywo or more missing could easily aloow the exhaust to band up against the bottom of the car.

Check the condition of the rear shock absorber/strut top mount. It sounds to me like when the car sits normally, it's weight is bearing on the top mount keeping it from moving/rattling. When the weight of the car lunges forward on a hard stop, the play in the top mounts allows the assembly to rattle around making all sorts of weird noises only when you brake.
The top mount is typically only one nut holding the shaft of the shock absorber... struts are a bit different but not by much and still held with nuts though their may be three. On the inside of the car should be access ports in the rear quarter panels that let you in to inspect.
That's my first guess! Good luck!

I would check to make sure that the spare tire and jack tools are in the correct position. Someone may have had them out to fix a flat and never installed them back properly.
