It was said that Josh Gibson hit a ball out of Yankees Stadium in 1930 or 1931, with 1934 sometimes mentioned as the year (people weren't sure of the date). However, those recollections may be faulty. (Gibson was born in December 1911)
Gibson himself, late in his life, gave a number of interviews in which he talked about his most memorable home runs. He never mentioned hitting a ball out of Yankee Stadium. One would at least think that such a blast would stick out in his mind.
There is no reason, after all these years, to suppress the fact that Gibson hit a ball out of Yankee Stadium (it might have been a natural thing to do in the '30s and 40's, 50's etc, since Ruth and Mantle played there but never hit one all the way out, and writers might not want to admit that a black player accomplished the feat), but it appears that the story of Josh hitting a ball out of Yankee Stadium appears to be the product of someone's imagination.
The best evidence is that Gibson himself never said he did it.
