I've also never heard of that one. If she is covered by the foil how can the sun get through to tan her? If she is just laying on it I guess it would reflect more sunrays on her but I don't think it's worth. Besides that I don't think she should cover herself in the aluminum since the body could absorb it through the skin and there is evidence that Alzheimer's patients have excess aluminum concentrated in their brains (something to think about anyway).

Yes, she is nuts. Wouldn't aluminum foil REFLECT the sun and thus giving you LESS tan? That'd be kind of like trying to tan underneath a blanket. I think the UV rays have to actually hit your skin.

Yes she's nuts! If you are covering your body what is going to tan? I think you may need to tell her that her skin is only going to turn red because she is cooking it. To get a tan your skin needs to be exposed to the UV Rays in the sunlight. Note the key word EXPOSED. All she is going to do is end up literally burnt in the hospital with 3rd degree burns.

umm dearry i gotta say i think she has flown ova da cucku nest. gettin a tan aint dat real. me myself couldnt get a tan fi nuthin but i would have never covered miself in aluminum foil. sounds like a good way ta get skin cancer too. did she cover in oil and make sure she was well seasoned before also?

Does she think that she is a turkey? Is she trying to cook herself but to make sure that she is still juicy. Just wondering because I cover my turkey with Aluminum foil to make sure the moister stays in when I cook it.

tell her to try a tanning bed or tanning oil. they are much safer and more effective.
