to mislead the American public about his trade policies? I’m talking about BoxGate, that photo-opportunity at which Bush's aides slapped "Made in U.S.A." labels on boxes that were really stamped "Made in China", created a fake backdrop of more boxes, and relied on an audience of workers who were forced to attend the event by their bosses. How's that for honesty and honor in the White House?

Neocons: Does standing tall for America mean firing your American workers and moving their jobs to a sweatshop in China?

EXACTLY, and the NEOCONS would have us beleive that Hollywood is subversive, it would be hilarious if the ramifications of DUH-bya and his criminal administration were'nt so dire. Sometimes I think that Duh-bya was born a fetal alcohol syndrome baby, it would explain everything!

precisely. 0'bama and business enterprise made an straightforward statement. Bush change into frank and abrasive. human beings don't love that Texas demeanor. even if he change into telling the reality change into irellevant. Lyndon Johnson had a similar situation. This Texan signed the civil rights bill, took the KKK head on, declared warfare on poverty and almost withstood the white backlash. It did not remember. The liberals were repulsed through the Texas posture and took to the streets. Johnson, one among our maximum efficient presidents died on my own. 0'bama, is merely handing over what we had earlier and worse except with slick oration, a huge smile and a hip hop bop. it really is promoting like warm brownies and the cost is intense, very, very intense. it really is between the country's greatest swindles. The psychological elite were had through a cheap shell interest. "no one ever went broke underestimating the mind of the Amreican human beings" HL Mencken

Par for the course and a good example of a domestic scam.
Paprklp says deceiving the public about economic matters is morally better than lying to one's wife. A good example of how rabid partisanship and propaganda can blind us to truth and proportion.
Me m below illustrates the Republican mainstay -- smearing and personal attacks, and no debate on the issue or facts. This is what democracy and free speech have been reduced to by the reactionary right wing.

I can't understand how we allow this and his greed for oil and money has torn us apart as a country. He will do anything corrupt and illegal. This is why we must get the majority of house Republicans outta there. The only reason he hasn't started a draft is because it would start the **** he couldn't handle from Americans.

Your clueless here. Guess you want a socialist system too eh?
My guess is that you want a closed market instead of a free one. One monitored by the government. Bad mojo...
The free market is just that, FREE. If a company want to move to China, it's going to move to china. If it stays in the US, then it stays in the US. The government does not tell you that you can't eat chinese food, they arent going to tell Wal Mart not to buy from China

The question really should be why do ALL POLITICIANS rely on slick public relations professionals................
The answer is: If we knew the truth about the 'popular' politicians they wouldn't be popular anymore and the unpopular politicians need to boost their poll numbers.
