sourav is one of the best cricketer the world has ever seen.He is in the likes of LARA,PONTING and TENDULKAR.Being the fastest man to reach 9000 runs in ODIs, ganguly lost his edge when took the team in charge.Even as a captain he had many memorable innings like the 2002 championns trophy and the 2003 south african tour.no one could ever forget his famous knock of 144 in adelaide in the first test against the aussies . As a captain Ganguly has taken INDIA to greater heights. Took the team to the last world cup final,sharing the 2004 champions trophy in SRI LANKA which could have been easily ours and many more. THE PRINCE OF KOLKATA is the best.THE BENGAL TIGER will roar once again.

saurav is the best one day batsman of all times he is the best cricketer
he is the fastest to score 9000 runs
his captaincy seems to be excellent decisions ,ideas are good
we have one many many matches under his captaincy and have entered into the worldcup final once under his captaincy
i accept that he lost form for more than a year but the last test he came to form he score 40 in all the innings that he played
he doesnt get out so early
so india can use him at the right time

I don't know the reason why many of you are not considered Sourau?
Do you know he 'IS' the most successful caption of INDIA. Will you forget, the man had hit 22 centuries in ODI and the highest of 183 vs Sri Lanka in 1999 World Cup.
He was the caption of our team while we crushed the record won of the Aussies of consecutive 17 test victories.
He is one of the best cricketer who INDIA ever produced.

He may not be the best cricketer or captain, but he's definitely good. i believe that he has the right to be given a chance in the matches and prove himself.

He has proved his metal in both the fields. But, everone's time has to finish someday. However, he may still bounce back; see Tendulkar. Ganguly must give a final try. What the hell if he fails! Even trying has its own pleasure. Best of luck to him.
