It is spelled quit.

Maybe she has collic or something else. Just because a baby cries doesn't mean it is hungry.

My dd had colic real bad and all she did was cry . What helps well
mylicon helped and if u bottle feed try adiff bottle style.
Also burp good. And the bicycle thing with their legs help.
How ever if its not colic could be ear infection, tummy ache,
baby may be sick. U are not a bad parent u are asking valid questions and care.
My dd cried all night the first night she came home.
Also u can try a sling an pack her around while vacuuming
that sound seemed to soothe my dd.
Also u can place a infant seat next to or on if u r right there on a dryer the vibrations a soothing I did that it worked like a charm.
Never leave baby for a second like that tho.
Wish u luck
Morgaine
PS if u have further issues please check with doc she could be sick. He can also offer moral support.

RELAX. Take a deep breath. Babies cry. Sometimes for no reason at all. Do you have an infant swing? Maybe put the baby in the swing for a bit and you sit and have a cup of tea or something. You sound stressed and by your user name of army wife i can only imagine you are doing alot of this on your own. Maybe you can get someone to come over to sit with your daughter and you can get a nice long bath or shower and take a nap. Once you're refreshed you'll have a whole new approach to things.

You are not alone...

There are many reasons why she would cry. If you have ruled out the obvious then it may be a medical problem so ask your pediatrician. Anyway, its not that you are a bad mother, the fact is that in the first few months you are feeling out your child as she is feeling you out. Soon you will know what sooths her and she will learn to trust you. The fact that you are with your child trying to help her makes you a great mom. But, remember to take time for yourself. You need to get a trusted babysitter and get out of the house. It gets better.

it could be reflux. my baby started at 6 weeks and it was downward spiral. we found out he had a milk allergy, severe gas, and severe reflux. he wouldn't take a bottle either, even though he was hungry and wanted to eat. he'd suck for a second then start screaming, and arching his back (a good reflux indicator). we have since changed formula 3 times, and 2 different reflux meds plus a lil mylanta every now and again. now he is like a whole new baby. before we knew there were actual problems, i tried giving him gripe water, and gas drops, and that seemed to help. just hang in there, go see a doctor to rule out any real problems. aside from that if it is just colic, hopefully it will outgrow it soon. but even if it is colic there are still things you can try--switching formula (or if you are breastfeeding, elimin some things from your diet that could be aggrivating) etc. try the gripe water tho too. good luck!!

First and foremost, if you are trying to make your baby feel better you are NOT a bad parent. Some children are just fussier than others. Maybe the baby is teething. Maybe his/her belly hurts. Maybe they have colic. Maybe they won't take a bottle or pacifier because they have sores in their mouth. A baby's only way to tell us if something is wrong is to cry. You just have to learn what the different cries are for and do your best to make them feel better. You love your child and you are a great parent for it....don't ever forget that!

Try rocking her, take a drive in the car, a baby swing. She could have gas or a fever. Also she could be too hot or cold. Another thing is she could be teething. Check her gums and see if they are swollen. My niece has been going through the teething process for a couple of months and shes almost 6 months so its not too early.

One of my sons was like that. He had colic. His belly always hurt. Sometimes if you understand that your babies in pain, its easier to handle the constant crying. Check with your doctor. There are meds they can give to to help comfort the baby. The good news is, this usually goes away at 3-4 months. Good Luck!

Your baby might have colic, you should try giving her a bit of gripe water (found in most drug stores) it will help relieve the gas and it might help her stop crying.
Another thing to try is the swaddle your baby in a blanket (wrap her tightly) babies love this it usually calms them down right away. Email me if you need anything else.

Maybe she has a stomach ache(touch her tummy to see if its hard) Its probably just gas. How old is she? And dont think that youre a bad parent....they all cry like that. Depending on her age..lay her on her stomach and pat her back...and dont try feeding her anymore(soon) Youll know when shes hungry. Try calling her pediatrician. GOOD LUCK

depending on how old she is, she could have colic if she is 4mths and under. Try going to the chemist and asking for something for her wind.. there are drops you can put into her bottle to bring up all the airin her tummy that might be giving her pains. Also put her across your knees and rub her back, that could help with tummy pains too.
It all depends on what age she is, you didnt specify?
