***I typed it out from great to worse.

1. FDR - amazing social programs, winning the war on two fronts, ending the Great Depression, did everything a President possibly could.

2. Washington- presided over an unstable budding nation, without him we simply wouldn't be

3. Lincoln- presided over the only civil war this nation had, and kept the country united in the end.

4. Clinton- a moderate, mediocre president who continually betrayed his party and policies. Sure he was corrupt, but not at the cost of thousands of American lives.

5. Nixon- A paranoid hack, but opened up diplomatic and economic relations with China, which has benefited the country

6. Reagan- I HATE this man, the only reason he is up this high on the list is because the others are even worse, and SOME credit him with the fall of the USSR

7. Hoover- blatantly ignored the needs of a country in peril, did nothing to attempt to alleviate the pressures brought on by the Depression, only rewarded his croonies

8. GW Bush- presided over the most tragic event on American soil since Pearl Harbor, manipulated the fears of a grieving nation to justify a war for his own personal gain, infalted our dependency on oil, gave a major tax cut to the richest people of this nation and then waged a multi-billion dollar war, and then there is the possibility that his administration orchestrated 9/11...spent more time on vacation then any other president, bought his way into office.... I could go on all day, but you get the picture

Clinton- criminal activity
Hoover- had the bad luck of the depression
Nixon - He brought the soldiers home from Vietnam and he learned the press is not your friend
FDR- Helped us out of a depression and we are still paying through the nose.
Washington- He was first
GW Bush - this position will change once history realizes that he was right and had the courage to take on the Terrorists.
Reagan- had the courage to take on Russia. Ended the cold war without firing a shot.
Lincoln- had the courage to stand behind his beliefs that we needed to be of one nation, and that slavery was also wrong.
