Terrorism is a war that cant be won militarily! There is absolutely no way of defeating terrorism.There are two many factions all wanting different things,, You can wipe out every nation in the middle east and you still have a guy with a grudge in your own back yard!.
Bush and Blair are living in cloud cuckoo land if they think that they'll beat the terrorist by military means alone, In any conflict there are always to two side, with opposing views. A majority of the current terrorist are Muslim fanatics who are aggrieved at whats going on in the middle east and elsewhere!. Americas unmoving support for Israel is a constant recruitment Sargent for those organizations who seek to wreck civilization has we know it.

Personally I don't think terrorism will ever be eradicated, it can only be controlled to a certain level. Sending troops to Iraq has only worsened the situation and extremists are targeting major cities in the world. There is going to be a fight against terrorism for a long time because there is always those who threaten our peaceful way of life. All we can do is work together as nations and bring those criminals to justice and tighten our security at airports, stations etc. We are living in a dangerous era and no one truly knows when such atrocities will end.

First of all, all of the countries that are considered "advanced and civilized" are literally sucking all the resources from the other less-civilized countries. The "class-war" has been going on for decades. Poverty had much to do with it.
If we cannot sit down with these radicals and discuss openly what each party wants...then nothing will get accomplished.
Unfortunately, this has been going on since the beginning of time. Rent the movie, "Kingdom of Heaven". Jews have fought Muslims, Christians have been fighting Muslims...etc. and so on.
Much of the blame goes to the church.

The war on terrorism will go on for as long as the American people fall for all the propaganda that promotes the fear of terrorism. You can not end terrorism without killing off all the terrorists. You kill one 10 more pop up.
